AJT - Submission of Tenders

Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. saw the opening of the tenders submitted in the procedure for the supply of the Integrated Training System Advanced (Advanced Jet Trainer).

Offers were submitted by three companies:
1 Alenia Aermacchi SpA
2 BAE Systems,
3 Lockheed Martin UK Limited

The budget intended to be used for the implementation of this acquisition is in the amount of 1.2 billion złotys.

Offers made represent the following prices:

- BAE Systems - 1 754 006 167 zł;
- Lockheed Martin UK Limited - 1 802 757 431 zł;
- Alenia Aermacchi SpA - 1 167 754 500 zł.

The acquisition committee will now proceed to examine and assess the tenders according to the criteria laid down in the tender documents, which are: price, the cost of the product life cycle and performance rewarded.

Signing of the agreement is expected in the first quarter of 2014.
