Questions Increase on President's Use of Forged Nuclear Evidence
(Source: Congressman Henry Waxman; web-posted June 2, 2003)
U.S. Representative Henry Waxman, ranking minority member of the House Committee on Government Reform, has written a letter asking President George Bush “to explain why he cited forged evidence about Iraq's efforts to obtain nuclear materials in his 2003 State of the Union address.”

The six-page letter is particularly interesting because it analyzes in detail how the Bush Administration used questionable reports about Iraq’s alleged weapons of mass destruction to gain support for its attack on Iraq.
