 Principal Deputy US Undersecretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics) Michael Wynne on Wednesday May 15 briefed reporters on Future Technologies for Indirect Fires.
The briefing covered the advanced indirect fire technologies that the Pentagon wants to accelerate, and that underpin the future of US Army artillery.
These technologies are a part and parcel of the secretary's determination that the Crusader program would be recommended to Congress for termination and cancellation.
