Ukroboronprom Offered Poland to Join New Projects

Establishing cooperation for development of new weapons and military equipment in the field of air defense and armored vehicles was discussed during the meeting between the delegation of the SC “UkrOboronProm” and the Ministry of National Defense (Poland). Polish Deputy Defense Minister Bartosz Kovnatsky and UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov chaired the talks.
“Polish defense industry is one of UKROBORONPROM’s strategic partners, we already have effective cooperation experience and strive to expand it”, – said Roman Romanov.
Besides the Ministry of National Defense (Poland), heads of the leading Polish defense industry enterprisers participated in the talks: PGZ, PCO, WB Electronic, HSW, Bumer Labedy. The SC “UkrOboronProm” has joint projects with these companies; implementation of the given projects was also discussed during the meeting.
“Today UKROBORONPROM is actively implementing NATO standards, designing new samples in accordance with international standards. Poland is a NATO member, so this experience will allow Ukraine to deepen military-technical cooperation with the Alliance,” – said Roman Romanov.
