SEOUL --- The South Korean government plans to restructure its unmanned systems development program. The South Korean military wants to development additional unmanned air vehicles (UAVs).
South Korea's Ministry of National Defense plans to revise a rule concerning the structure of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). South Korea will split its unmanned vehicle management team into two parts: strategic and tactical.
The strategic team will handle projects that meet the needs of commanders or larger-sized military units. The tactical team will run projects for corps or smaller-sized military units.
