The United Kingdom’s Contribution to European Security and Defence
(Source: IISS; issued February 12, 2018)
The event served as the launch of a joint policy paper produced by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) and the German Council on Foreign Relations that analyses the United Kingdom’s contribution to European security and defence.

The speakers explored options for how the British defence and security industry could play a future role in European Union defence collaboration after the UK’s exit from the EU.

They outlined policy decisions that EU governments and the UK might wish to consider in order to manage the UK’s exit in a way that strengthens European security.
