DENMARK --- At this year’s Indo Defence 2018, held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, from 7 to 10 November, Terma invites customers, partners, and visitors to experience our capabilities within C-Flex Command & Control System, C-Guard Naval Decoy System, and SCANTER X-band Navigation, Surface Search and Short-Range Air Surveillance Radar Systems.
Terma’s team attending the exhibition is headed by President & CEO Jens Maaløe and Anupam Narain Mathur, Vice President & General Manager, Terma Asia Pacific.
“Besides exhibiting our naval and surveillance capabilities, I especially look forward to meeting high-ranking officers from the Indonesian Armed Forces and key representatives from Indonesian MoD,” said Jens Maaløe.
The Danish Chief Staff of Navy, Rear Admiral Torben Mikkelsen and Managing Director of Naval Team Denmark, Rear admiral (ret.) Nils Wang will head a Danish business delegation visiting the exhibition. The business program during Indo Defence 2018 includes a seminar on Danish Naval Technology with representatives from Navy, Air Force, MoD, Coast Guard, Ministry of Transportation, and Ministry of Marine Affairs & Fisheries.
“Terma has a proud history as supplier to the Indonesian Defense, and with the support from Royal Danish Navy and the Danish Ambassador Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen and his staff, we are looking forward to further developing the relations with the Indonesian Defense and the Indonesian industry,” said Jens Maaløe.
The SCANTER radars are operated both on land and at sea by the Indonesian Coast Guards (BAKAMLA), the Indonesian Sea and Coast Guards (KPLP), the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (DGST), and Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) has chosen the Terma C-Guard decoy launching system to protect its strategic assets against missile attacks.
“We look very much forward to welcoming partners and customers at our stand at Indo Defence, a leading and well attended tri-Service Defence Exhibition in Asia Pacific,” says Anupam Narain Mathur, and continues:
“Indo Defence enables us to showcase our key technologies and products to a dedicated audience. We are pleased to participate with a highly experienced staff within naval mission systems, naval protection systems, and surveillance systems.”
