Qualification tests of two different anti-tank platforms, wheeled and tracked, (Pars and Kaplan) developed by FNSS within the scope of STA Project continue while the first firing of the OMTAS missile from the Kaplan antitank platform was successfully completed.

FNSS completed the OMTAS integration as planned, with rapid work with Roketsan for the antitank turret, and it was confirmed by firing trials last year with the Kornet missile.

An important phase of the program was confirmed in Konya Karapinar on 13 February 2019, with the participation of project teams from the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) and Land Forces Command.

Qualification tests of the program will be completed during this year, and Kaplan and Pars deliveries will then begin.

Qualification tests of two different anti-tank platforms, wheeled and tracked, (Pars and Kaplan) developed by FNSS continued while the first firing of the OMTAS missile from the Kaplan antitank platform was successfully completed.

On 27 June 2016, SSB and FNSS Defense Systems Inc., as part of the scope of the contract for weapon-carrying vehicles (STA) signed on October 14, 2016, a total of 260 Armored Anti-Tank Systems, comprising both tracked Kaplan STA and wheeled Pars STAs, will be delivered to our Land Forces Command.

Thanks to our defense industry, with the Kaplan STA, Pars STA platforms and the OMTAS missile, Land Forces Command will have gained an important anti-tank capability.
