Russian and Turkish Defence Ministries Discuss Regional Security and Situation in Syria

Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu and Minister of Defence of the Turkish Armed Forces Hulusi Akar held talks in Moscow to discuss regional security in Syria, and bilateral cooperation.

General of the Army Sergei Shoigu and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar paid particular attention to earliest possible settling situation in the Syrian Arab Republic including repatriation of Syrian refugees.

Besides, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation between defence departments of the two countries.
