BVR\IAI Team Awarded Israeli Airforce Lease Contract for ACMI



ROSH HA' AYIN, Israel --- BVR Systems (1998) Ltd., a diversified world leader in advanced military training and simulation systems, today announced that the Israeli Air-Force (IAF) has selected BVR and its team member, Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd. (IAI\MLM), to supply EHUD rangeless ACMI systems through a one year lease Contract. The contract award is expected within two weeks.

BVR will act as the prime contractor, while the MLM Division of IAI will act as BVR's sub-contractor. The contract includes delivery of airborne instrumentation pods, which can be equipped with real-time Datalink, and a ground debriefing station. Delivery of the systems shall be within 45 days from Contract award.

The lease contract is the first phase in the IAF's procurement program of EHUD ACMI systems. It is expected that during the leasing period the IAF will execute to the BVR\MLM team a purchase agreement for the supply of an additional quantity of EHUD ACMI systems.

EHUD airborne pods are housed in air-to-air training missile shells adaptable to any type of combat aircraft. EHUD provides real-time missile hit/miss simulation and assessment, midair and ground collision avoidance warnings, real time command and control, and post-flight debriefing.
