ALQ-211 EW System For Chile, Oman (Aug. 13)

ITT Corp., ITT Avionics Division, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a $51,653,708 firm-fixed price, time and materials contract to provide for the Foreign Military Sale of the ALQ-211 (V)4, Advanced Integrated Defense Electronic Warfare System for the countries of Chile and Oman.

This Electronic Warfare system will be used on F-16 Aircraft being procured under separate acquisitions for these countries by the F-16 System Program office. Ten systems are being acquired for Chile and 12 systems are being acquired for Oman. Associated spares support equipment, training, engineering services, flight test support, and data are being acquired for the systems also.

At this time, $38,740,281 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be complete by March 2009. Negotiations were completed August 2002. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity. (ends)
