ROCKVILLE, Md. --- BAE Systems has received a contract from the U.S. Marine Corps to provide a wide range of professional engineering, analytical and technical services over the next 20 years.
BAE Systems will support activities in the Engineering and Scientific Domain.
BAE Systems Applied Technologies was among 22 contractors selected for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) blanket purchase agreement that could total $300 million over the life of the contract.
The company and its team of subcontractors will provide engineering, logistics, financial, and program management support to the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) and its affiliated directorates, program, and field activities in the Engineering and Scientific Domain.
The award permits BAE Systems to become a full partner with the Marine Corps in implementing revolutionary methodology that has been established by MARCORSYSCOM to procure professional support services in the future.
