$440 M Contract For Special Forces Support (Sept. 5)
Modern Technologies Corp, Dayton, Ohio (F09602-02-D0064), TCS Design and Managements Services, Dayton, Ohio (F09602-02-D0060) and Innovative Technologies Corp., Dayton (F09603-02-D0062), are awarded a $440,000,000 (Program Maximum) indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity task order contract to provide non-personal engineering, software, logistics, and program management administration support services required by the Special Operations Forces System Program Office on Sept. 3, 2002.
This acquisition will encompass both advisory and assistance (A&AS) and non-A&AS.
The government will obtain engineering, software logistics and program office support services for, but not limited to the following weapon systems: AC-130H, AC-130U, MC-130U, MC-130E, MC-130H, MC-130P, C-141B/C-17 SOLL, MH-53J, MH-53M, HH-60G, CH-4E, HH-3E, UH-1N, CV-22, associated technical orders, aircraft systems, subsystems, avionics and support equipment.
At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work will be complete as specified on individual task orders. Solicitation was posted electronically in January 2001, and six proposals were received. Negotiations were completed July 2002.
Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga, is the contracting activity.
