TORONTO---CAE today announced the team of CAE and CBD Training has been awarded a five-year, C$28 million contract to provide aircrew training and courseware development for the U.S. Air Force Weapons School at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB) in Nevada.
CAE USA personnel will provide most of the contract aircrew training and classroom instruction. CBD Training, based in St. Petersburg, Florida, will provide most of the courseware development. The workshare and contract value will be split approximately equal between CBD Training and CAE.
"The U.S. Air Force Weapons School provides some of the world's most advanced training in weapons and tactics employment to professional officers," said John Lenyo, President and General Manager, CAE USA. "This is a new customer for CAE and we're pleased to support the education and training of U.S. Air Force personnel and contribute to their readiness and combat capability."
