AMC Awards $665M Airlift Contracts (Sept. 6)



**North American Airlines Contractor Team, Sterling, Va., is being awarded a $338,808,638 indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract to provide for international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command.

The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. This effort will be performed by World Airways, Inc., Herndon, Va., (27 percent), and other contractors. At this time, no funds have been obligated.

This work will be completed in September 2002. Solicitation began March 2002 and negotiations were completed July 2002.

The Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity. (ends)



**Federal Express Charter Programs Teaming Arrangement, Memphis, Tenn., is being awarded a $327,648,602 indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract to provide for international airlift services.

The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. The location of performance is American Trans Air, Inc., Indianapolis (36 percent) and other contractors. At this time, no funds have been obligated.

This work will be complete September 2002. Solicitation began in March 2002 and negotiations were completed July 2002.

The Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity.
