French Shareholdings and Transfers Commission Issues Favorable Decision on Aerospatiale Privatization
;France's Shareholdings and Transfers Commission (Commission des Participations et des Transferts) has issued a favorable decision concerning the transfer from the public sector to the private sector of part of the share capital of Aerospatiale, Société Nationale Industrielle.
The Aerospatiale Group will be renamed Aerospatiale-Matra following the transfer of operations from Matra Hautes Technologies.
The commission's decree was published in the "Journal Officiel" (Official Gazette) on March 27, 1999 (decision No. 99-AC-2)
