AMS Launches New Naval Combat Systems (Sept. 30)

At LIMA 2003 AMS are launching NECSYS – a family of combat systems. AMS has expanded its core Combat System product and integration services portfolio and with it’s pre-eminent position on the UK’s Type 45 programme, French and Italian Horizon programme and the Italian NUMA project, the Company is now in an excellent position to compete as a major force in the export Combat System market.

The NECSYS range of Combat systems is suitable for the vast majority of surface vessels, drawing on the AMS’ Naval combat systems pedigree in its home markets and key export programs. NECSYS provides proven:-

--Core combat system supply from within the AMS product portfolio
--Multi-domain functionality
--Interfaces to leading European and US weapon systems
--Interoperability based upon standard datalinks and the developing Co-operative Engagement Capability (CEC)

AMS has a long history of delivering such capability with a proven record worldwide, providing the latest COTS technology and either traditional or partnering based support packages.
