TORONTO---On January 12th, 2001, Alitalia S.p.A., the Italian national airline, formally accepted delivery of an Airbus A320 Flight Training Device from Atlantis Systems International of Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
The A320 FTD is installed in Alitalia's Fiumicino base near Rome. Alitalia already uses Atlantis FTDs for aircrew training on Boeing 767-300 and 747-400 aircraft.
