Alvis plc, incorporating Alvis Vehicles Ltd, Hägglunds Vehicle AB and Hägglunds Moelv AS, is delighted to return to Abu Dhabi for IDEX 2001.
The large Alvis stand, number D7, is situated on an outdoor site to the left of the entrance of Hall 7, the UK hall. The Alvis stand will feature the following vehicles in an outdoor display:
**Desert Piranha 25mm - light wheeled armoured vehicle with proven track record in the Middle East
**Scorpion CVR(T) LEP - modernised light tank, refitted with new diesel engine and other high-tech equipment enhancements
**Desert Piranha NBC Reconnaissance - interactive video training systems display
Also on the stand is an air-conditioned building containing video displays, models, interactive displays, meeting rooms and hospitality facilities. A mobility display will feature Desert Piranha.
Alvis is proud to be present again at IDEX and a warm welcome awaits all visitors. An experienced team of Alvis personnel will be available on the stand during the course of IDEX 2001, providing specialist advice and support. A programme of visits from international delegations has been arranged and the stand, its staff and facilities are expected to be very busy. (ends)
