Boeing Wins $66M T-38 Avionics Contract (Nov. 19)

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $66,296,764 firm fixed price contract to provide for T-38 Avionics Upgrade Program: 59 each T-38C upgrade package kits, including right door; 67 each T-38C upgrade package left door; 1 lot AUP System Engineering and program management.; 75 each T-38C Package Installation (Kits); 75 each T-38 package installation (left door); 1 lot AUP production support; 1 lot non-AUP material; 1 lot shipping and transportation; 1 lot production data; 1 lot technical order sustainment; 1 lot aircrew training courseware; 1 lot engineering studies; 5 each mission planning systems; 1 lot proposal prep.

The location of performance is The Boeing Co., McDonnell Douglas, St. Louis, Mo., and the modification facility is at Williams Gateway Airport (Boeing), Mesa, Ariz. Total funds have been obligated. This work will be complete by September 2008. Solicitation began November 2003 and negotiations were completed September 2004.

The Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
