BAE to Study Hostile Fire Indicator (Feb. 10)

BAE Systems, Nashua, N.H., was awarded on Feb. 7, 2005, a $5,950,905 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research on the Helicopter-Based E-Field Hostile Fire Indicator.

Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H. (96 percent) and San Diego, Calif. (4 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Dec. 31, 2003, and two bids were received.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (HR0011-05-C-0044).
