AMS Radar Selected by Ukraine (Mar. 11)

AMS has been selected by UkSATSE, the Air Navigation service provider of Ukraine, to supply a modern national ATM infrastructure.

The national ATM infrastructure will comprise five radar heads, each of them consisting of:

--co-mounted ATCR 33 S S-band solid state primary radar and SIR-S Mode S secondary radar;

--antennas, two tracking processor (redundant configuration), maintenance console.

With the announcement of this new contract, AMS takes great pride in confirming and extending the excellent working relationship that exists between AMS and UkSATSE since a long time.

AMS provides Total Air Traffic Management (ATM) Capability from En-Route/Approach to Surface Management systems, Gate-to-Gate Surveillance with their family of Air Traffic Control (ATC) Primary and Secondary radars, Navigation and Landing Aids, Weather Radar systems and new generation CNS/ATM systems such as Satellite Navigation Augmentation Systems, ADS and CPDLC.
