Boeing Wins $219M for FCS Program (Sep 27)

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on Sept. 23, 2005, a $219,245,691 increment as part of a $17,350,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee/cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for the Future Combat System development and demonstration phase.

Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (18 percent), Huntington Beach, Calif. (23 percent), Seattle, Wash. (11 percent), Philadelphia, Pa. (3 percent), Huntsville, Ala. (4 percent), Orlando, Fla. (1 percent), Houston, Texas (3 percent), Washington, D.C. (7 percent), Mesa, Ariz. (1 percent), Sterling Heights, Mich. (11 percent), Santa Clara, Calif. (8 percent), Bloomington, Minn. (5 percent), and Plano, Texas (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2014.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 15, 2005.

The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-C-0724).
