NEW YORK---United Industrial Corporation today announced that its AAI Corporation subsidiary has been awarded a new contract by the Naval Sea Systems Command.
Valued at up to $29 million, the contract enables the U.S. Navy to order an unspecified quantity of Generic Navy Stimulator/Simulators (GNSS) units, navigation simulators and engineering services in support of the U.S. Navy's Battle Force Tactical Training Program over the next five years.
United Industrial's AAI unit has supported both domestic and international Battle Force Tactical Training Programs since 1998, delivering 278 GNSS units, 30 navigation simulators and the Carry on Combat Systems Trainer for a total of $66 million.
