ADI’s director of Land - Engineering and Vehicles, Bob Simpson, said the successful outcome was a country and company team effort.

“The Minister for Defence, the Hon. Dr Brendan Nelson, the Minister Assisting the Minister for Defence, The Hon Bruce Billson and Defence Materiel Advocate Major General Jim Molan and the Australian Defence Force backed our bid from the start,” said Mr Simpson.

“Another important benefit from this win is that our staff and facilities at Bendigo have showcased an Australian product on an important global stage,” he said
