AM General Corp., South Bend, Ind., is being awarded a $72,512,188 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-01-C-S001 for 1,176 high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles. Work will be performed in Mishawaka, Ind., and completion is expected by Dec. 31, 2007.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was awarded based on acquisition streamlining principals, Alpha contracting utilized.
The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
