HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --–Bevilacqua Research Corporation (BRC) has been selected as one of several teams to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) programs under a multiple-award blanket purchase agreement estimated at a value of approximately $930 million over a 10-year period.
Bevilacqua will help the DoD test and evaluate tactics, techniques and procedures proposed to improve coordination between U.S. Armed Forces as the separate branches of the military strive to operate together more effectively as a united force.
“BRC brings a wealth of technical capability developed over our almost fifteen-year history as part of the Huntsville technical community,” said Andy Bevilacqua, president of BRC.
“We feel we can deliver superior products and services to the government at a reasonable cost. These products and services will directly benefit our warfighters by helping the military to find ways to work in the type of joint operational environment that is so common today.”
Bevilacqua’s support will include test planning and execution, systems engineering, test instrumentation development, analysis, software development, IT services and documentation development for JT&E activities at the Office of the Secretary of Defense and for each of the military services, including the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
The $930 million JT&E Program is designed to nominate solutions to joint operational challenges, conduct studies of approved solutions and then formally test solutions that show the most potential.
As a small high-tech company with superior technical and management skills BRC brings the kind of flexibility and responsiveness that is needed to get new products to our nation's warfighters in a timely manner.
