AgustaWestland Announces 32 Orders at HAI

AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that Aerolíneas Ejecutivas (ALE), the sole AgustaWestland distributor in Mexico, will add seven more helicopters to their inventory with the purchase of two A109 Powers, two Grands, two AW119 Ke, and one AW139.

ALE is a Mexican company with nearly 40 years of experience in the sales, rental, administration and maintenance of both new and second-hand aircraft. In February of 2006, ALE was appointed as the AgustaWestland Authorized Service Centre in Mexico, and in July 2006, at the Farnborough Airshow, signed a Distributor Agreement with AgustaWestland.

Located at Toluca International Airport outside of Mexico City, ALE provides maintenance and repair services as well as maintaining a spare parts inventory for a range of AgustaWestland helicopters including the AW119 Ke, A109 Power, Grand and AW139.

“Our alliance with Aerolineas Ejecutivas has strengthened AgustaWestland’s presence in the Mexican region,” said Renzo Lunardi, AgustaWestland Commercial Programmes Managing Director. “This purchase makes certain that future operators of AgustaWestland helicopters in Mexico will receive select delivery positions and a level of service that is second-to-none.”

“Since becoming AgustaWestland’s Distributor for Mexico, we have been able to offer our customers a product line that is know for its quality, reliability, and style,” said Alejandro Alonzo, President of Aerolineas Ejecutivas. “The demand for AgustaWestland helicopters has increased tremendously in our territory and this purchase will enable us to service our customers in a very effective and expeditious manner.” (ends)
