Raytheon Receives $25.9 Million JSTARS Support Contract Extension
WACO, Texas---Raytheon Company has received a $25.9 million contract extension to provide contractor logistics support for Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) aircraft. The contract from Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Ga., includes field service representatives, a contractor operated and maintained base supply system, depot maintenance and program management support services. The Aircraft Integration Systems segment of Raytheon System Company will manage the work, which will be done at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. Raytheon personnel will perform logistics and maintenance support of the Joint STARS fleet of four operational E-8C aircraft and one trainer aircraft. This contract is for one year with a six-month option. The work will aid in maintaining the E-8C aircraft in a state of readiness to support mission requirements.
