TOULOUSE -- The European consortium ATR, based in Toulouse (France) officially launches the new ATR Support Website, dedicated to all ATR Operators.

On March 4th, the 107 ATR Operators will have access to this new internet-based site, entirely dedicated to support and service matters. It will offer an extensive range of features including technical support and documentation, material management, operational matters. Customers will also be able to find additional services on the site such as support packages or more specific assistance. Additional capabilities will be added in the future.

This web site has gone through a test phase since November 2001, with access given to a limited number of "pilot" Customers.

Roberto Bellino, Senior Vice President Customer Services of ATR would first like to "thank the 7 Operators that have assisted us during the trial period" and underlines that "the creation of the ATR Support Web site is the beginning of the e-support era that will change the way to conduct business between ATR and its Customers".

As announced during the 2001 Paris Air Show, ATR is also working jointly with Embraer on the development of AEROChain, the e-market place for Regional Aviation. The work done in the frame of the ATR Support Web site officialised today its first step towards the development of AeroChain.
