Another V-22 Contract For Bell-Boeing (Mar. 27)



The Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an estimated not-to-exceed $37,620,000 modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-00-C-0183) for the procurement of production parts for the Block A upgrade of 20 V-22 aircraft.

Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (35 percent); and Amarillo, Texas (15 percent), and is to be completed by October 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, is the contracting activity.
