Boeing Wins $65M for UAV ISTAR Services

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an estimated $65,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide persistent Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance services supporting the Global War on Terror, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom sea-based deployments and land-based detachments.

Work will be performed in Bingen, Wash., (65 percent); and St. Louis, Mo., (35 percent) and is expected to be completed in May 2009. Contract funds in the amount of $7,000,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic request for proposals with two offers received.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-08-D-0013).
