Our engineers designed and manufactured the Horkus basic training aircraft to meet the Armed Forces’s requirements for a training and armed light close air support aircraft.

Additional tests have continued following the successful completion of the Horkus’ first flight on August 29, 2013 at TAI's facilities.

Since then, the aircraft has flown 40 sorties, for a total of 43 flight hours, and has reached an altitude of 15,500 feet and a top speed of 255 knots.

On 9 April 2014, a pre-flight center of gravity "CG Forward" test has been completed.
