The Long-Range Aviation Crews Performed Practical Launches of Missiles in the Murmansk Region

The tactical flight exercise was held with the crews of Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, on the basis of the mixed aviation regiment of long-range aviation in the Murmansk region.

During the event, the pilots performed tasks to organize air duty over the Barents Sea, as well as performed practical launches of missiles at designated targets.

"These events were carried out according to the combat training plan. The engineering staff prepared aviation equipment and armament. The flight crews carried out missile launches on the set targets, coped with the task. All the crews landed at the base airfield without any comments, " said the commander of the long-range aviation regiment, Colonel Vadim Beloslyudtsev.

In total, up to 10 Tu-22M3 aircraft, as well as about 20 units of automotive and special equipment, were involved in the flights as part of the exercise.
