Estonia on Thursday received as the first foreign country the first batch of Mistral M3 missiles. With Mistral missiles, ammunition for the Milan anti-tank missile system produced by MBDA also reached Estonia, military spokespeople said.

The total volume of the tender is 23.8 million euros. A spokesman for the defense forces told BNS that the [number] of the bought missiles is "enough to defend Estonia", but he did not specify the amount.

The Mistral air-defense system is being used in 30 countries across the world.
