Frequently Asked Questions
How do I report an error or request a correction?
Email the article link to contact@defense-aerospace.com, and where you can, attach or link the primary source that shows the correct information. A correction backed by a document is checked and actioned faster than one without.
Do you accept press releases and company announcements?
Yes, send them to the main address. Releases aren’t republished word for word. They’re treated as source material and covered only when they bear on a program, contract, or capability our readers follow.
Will you publish what I submit?
There’s no guarantee. Submissions are assessed for relevance and checked against primary sources before anything runs, so not every item leads to an article.
Can I send embargoed or not-yet-public material?
You can, to the editorial address. State the embargo date clearly in your message. Note that a claim from one party is attributed to that party and not presented as confirmed until it can be corroborated.
Is there a fee to read the site?
No. Every article and category page is free, with no paywall, no registration, and no metering.
Can I republish or quote an article?
Ask first. Email the main address with the piece you’d like to use and where it will appear, and we’ll come back to you.
Should I write to the editor or to the main address?
Use the editorial address for editorial matters, corrections of record, and time-sensitive queries. Everything else is better sent to the main address, which routes faster.
