GPS denial has become routine over large parts of Europe and the Middle East, affecting civil aviation and shipping alongside the military traffic it was aimed at. Electronic warfare stopped being a specialist annex to an air campaign some time ago.

This section covers the spectrum. Jamming and electronic attack, electronic protection, electronic support and emitter identification, digital radio frequency memory techniques, decoys and towed arrays, GPS jamming and spoofing, and the spectrum management that has to keep friendly systems working while all of it happens.

Effectiveness claims are hard to verify and get treated that way. Where a jamming effect is reported, this section says who reported it and what independent evidence exists, which is often none.
